  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Purpose: It is a common entrance test conducted to screen candidates into for Admission in B. E./B. Tech., B. Arch., B. Planning in various NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes. It is also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. Application Mode: Online Website: jeemain.nic.in
  • JEE Advanced Purpose: Candidates qualifying in JEE Main can only appear for JEE Advanced which is conducted for admission to UG engineering programs in the prestigious IITs, IISc, ISM Dhanbad and a few other institutes. Application Mode: Online mode Website: jeeadv.iitd.ac.in
  • BITSAT Purpose: BITSAT is conducted to select candidates for admission to engineering and other science programs in BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad. Application Mode: Online Website: bitsadmission.com
  • VITEEE: VITEEE is a common entrance exam for VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT- Bhopal. The exam tests Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English & Aptitude. The test consists of 125 multiple choice questions to be answered in two and half hours. Selection is based on the ranks through offline counselling process at VIT Campuses.   • National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Purpose: This is a premedical entrance exam to select candidates for MBBS/BDS for colleges across India. Application Mode: Online Website: ntaneet.nic.in
  • JIPMER Purpose: This exam is conducted to select candidates for MBBS/BDS programs in JIPMER. Eligibility: Candidates must have qualified in their Class 12.Website: jipmer.edu.in
  • KVPY Purpose: The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science. The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country. The advertisement for the KVPY Fellowship appears in all the national dailies normally on the Technology Day (May 11) and the Second Sunday of July every year. Selection of the students is made from those studying in XI standard to 1st year of any undergraduate Program in Basic Sciences namely B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology having aptitude for scientific research. Special groups / Committees are set up at IISc to screen the applications and conduct an aptitude test at various centres in the country. Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students are called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure. For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test and interview marks are considered. Generous fellowships are provided up to the pre-Ph.D. level to the selected KVPY Fellows.   • NDA Purpose: The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academy for further pre-commission training. The NDA is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra. It is the first tri-service academy in the world.The alumni of NDA include 3 Param Vir Chakra recipients and 12 Ashoka Chakra recipients. NDA has also produced 27 service Chiefs of Staff till date. The current Chiefs of Staff of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force are all NDA alumni from the same course. The 137th course passed out on 30 November 2019, consisting of 188 Army cadets, 38 Naval cadets, 37 Air Force cadets and 20 cadets from friendly foreign countries: Online Website: nda.nic.in
